The ACP Lifeline free phone program is government backed by the FCC. The Federal communications commission discounts monthly broadband internet access and connected devices. If you receive the ACP benefit, it can not be transferred to another household or individual.
Eligible households can acquire one monthly service discount and one device discount. If qualified, your monthly service will be $30 lower than usual, and they give $100 toward a phone. Moreover, benefits can transfer between service providers if you want to switch eventually.
Reduced Cost Phones
The ACP’s free phone program is a voucher or coupon for reduced-cost cell phone purchases. Consumers will be given a $100 voucher, and they can use it on almost any phone they like. You can apply the discounted price to any of the following phones.
- Google Pixel 3A XL
- Google Pixel 3A
- Google Pixel 2 XL
- Google Pixel 2
- LG Stylo 6
- Motorola Z4
- Samsung Galaxy A20
- Samsung Galaxy A11
- LG K10
- Samsung Galaxy A20S
Phone availability is not guaranteed. If you buy a phone that is worth more than $100, you can use the voucher as a coupon to lower the phone’s purchase price. Upgraded models are available, but they may require a co-pay.
